Home values going up with the new waterfront property!

Feel bad for the folks there. Insurance is decreasing in coverage and that is when you can even get someone to insure you. This was before these last two storms. Glad I do not live in Florida as it is going to get tougher.

My homeowners has tripled in 5 years doubled in 2.

The influx of blue is also having its effects. Whole place will be California soon. Sad really. My county was nothing but rednecks 15 years ago. Good times.

No homes or property were harmed in this post of satire. I reserve the right to make light of the situation outside my front door.
In very poor taste...nothing light about what happened to these people who, many, have lost everything 😥

Well if any of my Z Forum fam wants to move to CO, I got ya covered with RE and Mortgages. We don't have Hurricanes only tornados once in a long while but in parts that we are trying to give to Kansas.

I’ve lived in Sw Fl for 22 years. My first 15 were on a barrier island. Been coming here my entire life. Shit happens and if your going to live here you have to be willing to take the good with the bad. If you live on the water you have to accept the fact that you could lose your home, your belongings, maybe your life. It’s just reality. These last two years will reshape where people choose to live here in FL. If they chose FL at all. I’m saying this and people moving here is my livelihood. If you can’t have a sense of humor about the situation you need to go back to Chicago or where ever you came from.

I knew right away this was your personal situation because of past photos. So I knew you were trying to bring some levity to the situation. Nothing wrong with that, life's got plenty of challenges.
