mirrors vibrate - shake

I have the towing mirrors on my ZR2, basically the HD mirrors. When driving on anything but perfect road, the upper half of mirrors, glass part, what you look into, vibrates/shakes. it drives me crazy. is this really the best GM can do?

I've noticed this on my HD ZR2 including the dash, rearview mirror, radio antenna, etc. Seems to vary, but mostly when at start up and idle.

The diesel motor runs really quiet and smooth, it seems more like some harmonics at different rpms. Not sure I've noticed it as much driving at speed.

could be mounted too tight.
