Don't worry I went through the wash that has the heavy duty brushes to make sure it scrapes all the dirt of. Also I was in my HC that happens to be black.

I have a membership at GO Wash. They use soft cloth, not brushes. Does a great job, but they have to turn off the top 2 rollers otherwise they will damage my light bars on my overland rack.
