My new 2026 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD ZR2

Illinois allows 35% on all windows. I went with 20%. Will deal with it if I get pulled over. My 2022 1500 ZR had 35% on the fronts and 20% on the back, wanted it to be darker with the 2026.Looks just like mine, but I don't have the illegal window tint(Illegal in Florida anyway)

Yea, down here the first giveaway is the windshield strip...You can't be above the AS-1 line. The front doors and rear doors have a different spec. Fronts can't be darker than 28%. Everyone violates it, because other than being below the AS-1 line, you have to have the gizmo to measure the tint and most departments only have one of those.

Perdy truck...I'm not trading her in until the following:
1. Get a better picture of what's coming for the 2028 2500HD after the new 2027 Silverado launches next year
2. More reviews on the RAM 2500HD Cummins (VERY sweet truck)
3. Ford is looking to make major changes too for 2027 and a big interior upgrade...may look at a F250 Tremor (and I'm not a big Ford guy but we'll see)

I had two Ram/Cummins trucks. Never had an issue with either. It's what I'm leaning on going back to, as I stare at the check engine light on my dashboard AGAIN for this wonderful Chevy. I like the looks of this Chevy....But their technology really sucks.

Fucking bots going Ram now, but they may have missed the grid heater nuts dropping into the cylinder and wiping out a 20k motor. Silly bots Rams are for kids!

I wouldn't buy a Ford, cause I wouldn't want to hear about it from all my friends and in laws that drive them.

Not me...I gave up on Ford the last time my 2016 ended up on the back of a tow truck...for the third time...With 13k miles. YMMV
