Post recall fuel efficiency. Increaded or decreased?

My fuel economy seems ever so slightly better after the oil change to thicker oil. Not much, but a little bit. Haven't actually checked the DIC for average fuel MPG so I have no proof of my statement, but I seem to go longer between fill ups at the gas station.

Some people claim they do, one guy says +4 mpg. I don't believe it could be much, cause physics and all. But they could have made adjustments in fueling. The ECU is being reflashed to include some additional protection to identify bearing failure. So any other changes could be loaded at that that time.

The only way to know for sure is repeated hand calculations after refueling.

I've gotten 6-24 mpg on my 6.2L, just depends on the situation.

I agree. As I said earlier, if any improvement at all it isn't much.
