The original LT5 DOHC was farmed out.
This time around with the Z06 GM invested the money themselves. I doubt that architecture will be limited to that vehicle.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Gen 5 is the last pushrod motor produced.
And they are 100% guaranteed to not have any lifter issues...................................
