Howdy, I'm Dave. And I do not own a Silverado. Before ya'll freak out, I need help. I am resto-modding 2 very different vehicles. I picked up 84726943 upfitter switch panel. I know its meant for Silverado's and Sierra's, and all of my searches end up on this forum. I've gone through probably a dozen pages on information about these switches, to no avail for what I'm looking for. I'm specifically looking for the pigtail for the switch panel itself, and the wiring schematic/pin-outs. I keep finding 14 pin connectors, while this switch panel is 16 pin. Electrical work is not my forte, so detailed information is what I need before I burn something down.
The 2 vehicles I'm working on are a 1953 GMC sedan delivery, and a 1982 Ford F100. The F100 was my father's farm truck, he passed away last year, so I'm working on cleaning that up. I'm sure Ford is a bad word in a GM related forum.
Before anyone suggests, I've already reached out to 404 since they make a kit with this switch, and they were not helpful. I'm required to buy one of their kits, of which 95% of it would not be used, and I still wouldn't get the into I'm looking for.
So any help is greatly appreciated.
