Hi everyone! Daniel here...I purchased my new 2023 ZR2 back in mid December and have been loving it! Traded in a black 2014 Silverado 1500 LTZ Crew Cab for this amazing truck! I bought the Sand Dune Metallic as it was the first one here right off the delivery truck. Haven't done much to it just yet other than:
- Replace the radio antenna (makes no sense in 2023 to have a 24in antenna on the hood)
- Added a screen protector for entertainment system
- Purchased and installed the kicker subwoofer a couple of weeks ago (found it on ebay from a GM Parts dealer in DFW - I had it in my shopping cart on my Chevrolet app and then it disappeared and was no longer available)
Kicker subwoofer: https://www.ebay.com/itm/364074709009
- Purchased and installed the Remote Bass Control
Kicker bass control: https://www.ebay.com/itm/374511442965
- Added the CHEVROLET (black w/red outline) letters to tailgate

I still haven't decided between the flip or roll tonneau cover
Oh and I painted the silly pink metal license plate frames from Autonation to a similar color! LOL!

I've come across similar irregularities as everyone else, such as the entertainment system cutting out first few minutes (annoying but I can live with it) and a few others!

I appreciate you all sharing your experiences and providing great info on things to look for and improve! Looking forward to contributing and learning!

Thanks,
Daniel

Forgot to include: I also added the high clearance Silverado side steps, wheel locks (outrageous these aren't included), ceramic coating, ceramic window tint w/front brow...

nice looking rig.

Welcome neighbors! We should make a Silverado ZR2 meet in the RGV! Greetings from Brownsville View attachment 2137
Seeing your truck has an Ancira plate is a relief. RGV dealers are smoking some good stuff asking $5k-$10k over MSRP. Bought mine in Seguin during the real crazy times and still got it $1500 under MSRP and no addendums.

I agree! I got mine 5k below MSRP i bought it before dealer could add all their markup junk. They already had the addendums ready for the truck lucky got them to sell it for advertising internet price of 71k 🤭 stickers at 76k
