New ZR2 owner in New Mexico

Well... I'm entering the 6.2 lottery! lol.
Coming from a Ford F150 Lariat. Drove this home 1900 miles after purchase. Stopped and had an oil change at 923 miles. They looked at me funny, but I think it's 115.00 well spent.

I'm enjoying looking through all the messages here as I learn about my new ride.

My brother has a 2021 (?) AT4 with the 6.2 that's had oil disappearing. They've done dye tests, replaced something a few times (I'll have to ask him what), and I'm not sure what else. I've asked him if he'd buy another and he said YES. LOL. I'll let him know about the recall since he's not an online person.

Interesting, I've got a 2022 ZR2 and I haven't really ever seen a problem with oil consumption/loss. I did pull the codes on the truck over the weekend, and I don't have the P0016 cam/crank out of phase that they are using to determine if you get an engine... I'm coming up for an oil change in a couple of weeks, it will be interesting to see what the service manager says.
