Seeing more of these complaints about the HDs and horrible design and quality control. It gets you pissed when you got $100k into these rigs and can't keep them on the road.

I have an offer accepted on a 2025 hd zr2 and honestly I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to deal with the bullshit . My 1500 minimax has been good but the HDs have my hackles up. The ride and power delivery on these HDs have no rival but the damn issues with the cooler and valve bodies are pretty common it seems

Probably not real common, but nobody really knows what they'll get in the GM quality control grab bag. I've got a 22 23 and 24 and I'm a frequent flier at the dealer for software, trim work, false codes, bad electronic parts and recalls.

It's just how it's gonna be until GM recommits to quality. They don't seem to be up to the task just yet and have horrible leadership that is rewarded big $$ for poor work.

I have a '25 HD Duramax ZR2...Had it since October...No issues with the oil cooler or transmission. HOWEVER....the collision avoidance tech sucks. False alarms going off when I'm sitting in traffic, all sensors clean and clear. The infotainment sound cuts off momentarily about every 10mins. Rain sensing wipers only sense heavy Florida downpours after you can't see. Truck runs and drives nice, but the tech just blows.

I've had my collision system in my 22 flash at few different times and nobody was even close. I had someone cut in front of me due to road construction lane change and missed him by 3 feet and it never went off. My wife's Tahoe hauled her down from 45 mph to almost stopped in the middle of a busy intersection because someone was standing at the corner in the crosswalk with a bike not moving. She said she woukd have been hit if more traffic was coming from the back.

My 24 infotainment system and wife's 23 Tahoe infotainment have been much better with few issues. But my 22 has been updated 4 times and always defaults to cutting out after a while. Probably not as bad. They just missed the boat on software and electronics even though they are generally nice systems with plenty of features.
