Just got my truck back after 5 weeks of being at the shop waiting on a shift position control module replacement. I was looking around and checking the quality of the reassembly of the area at the drivers side and center console and noticed that the OEM floormats have about a 2" gap between the mat itself and the dead pedal area for your left foot. Is this an issue for other people? I was starting to think they may have removed some kind of cover under the dead pedal area in the carpet. However, I dont think they would need to access this area for the shifter replacement.
