Anyone had this install successfully yet? (with a Range installed) I'm a little gun-shy after the last one left me stranded!

GM Update N25-250552
• Improvements to OnStar through
enhancements for charging, Super Cruise,
remote start, and collision notification.
• Fixes to address connectivity issues.

I had done two updates with the range module prior to mine getting fried without problems. Some of these OTAs are simple and only take a few minutes.

I think the ECU programming they do with the 6.2L recall is a full blown rewrite and much more intricate and time consuming. I think that is when the trouble occurs.

Right. The recall update is the one mine bricked itself with OTA.

This one seems like a bcm/onstar module update which should be ok...but trying to be cautious this time.

As it turns out I also got the recall notification on the My Chevy app. I guess I’ll schedule it with the dealership and get it all done.
The strangest thing I found is a reoccurring “Pitbull Globilization” station on my Sirris that keeps showing up no matter how many times I delete it. I haven’t heard one Merle Haggard song on it yet, so it’s gotta go.

Success! Hooked up my house wifi and it went through. Maybe, hopefully, it won’t blow up now out of the blue. I’ll find out Sunday when I go to the lease to fill the feeders. Towing the side by side on a trailer, hauling a pallet of corn, maybe a boom stick or five (in case the piggy’s show up) my daughter and son in law, and ice chests with lunch! Getting to be my favorite time of the year.

Damn how many feeders you got!? Brown its down! Good luck this season. I think house wifi is the way to go with OTA's

i own three, but I’m filling six, on a little over 400 acres. Five different stands, a spring fed stream, two creeks, and a pipeline right of way through the middle, for that unobstructed, really long shot that I don’t trust myself to make cleanly anymore. (But, I have been known to strap a well armed person in the back of the side by side, and play Rat Patrol chasing hogs in the middle of the night down it.) I’m allowed two bucks and two doe, but I have a deal with two local churches and donate three of those to them if I fill all the tags. I only keep one as it’s just me and the wife left at home now. The churches will take wild hogs over 50, but under 175lbs. as well, so I get to play in woods most of the time now days.

Sounds like a good gig. One is all you need. We're still cooking up stuff from last season to make room for one or two this season. My son mainly hunts now, I'd rather be on the water these days.
