Orange 2500 ZR2

I came across an article saying that Chevy has a special order color Tangier orange. So I went to my local dealer and he did confirm that Tangier orange is available in the 2500 Zr2. He’s not positive on the requirements to get one. It is my understanding though that Chevy has to have five orders for that color in order to produce it. I’m wondering if anyone else has this truck in this color on order?

I saw this article a while back when I was shopping the HD (ended up going black) but a cool looking truck.

I seen one in a dealer ad here locally. Also seen articles in the past about the color.

Sometimes they'll do a dealer run and pump out some non standard colors for promotional use.

Back in 1997 I had S10 ZR2 in yellow, which was a popular, but mon standard, color then. The dealer I had gotten mine from did a promo and sold them for less than the others. It was the best ZR2 of the three I've owned.
