Got my truck back from the service department dealer yesterday after work. Testing was great, no signs of anything failing. Oil change done, and every oil change going forward will be $143.
Being the extended warranty is 10 yr/150k from the in-service date, which mine was 11/23, I still have 8 yrs and/or 126k miles left, so I may as keep my truck!
Hope everyone else that hasn’t gotten their recall fulfilled yet, I wish you the best as well!

it passed...for now. That warranty they gave you? It allows the accountants to accrue for possible future failures based on projections (XX amount of dollars per vehicle) instead of accruing for the cost of replacement for every one of these things in the immediate, a much higher dollar amount. Great accounting trick to keep the shareholders happy.....But make no mistake, that crank is probably defective.
