Peak 2.25” continuous squeak

I put on my peak 2.25 kit with the peak UCA’s a few months ago and this thing squeaks non stop. I’m not sure where it’s coming from, but everything is tight and I checked about 5 times already. With spring coming up, I know my windows are gonna be down and I don’t want to hear that anymore. Maybe someone ran into this and knows what to do?

I doubt this is the answer but I use CRC Dry PTFE lube on the Peak un-balls.

What brand of UCAs did you use with the kit? When I did my 2022 ZR2 with the Peak 2.25” and Cognito UCAs I had to squirt a little silicone spray between the washer and the arms once in awhile. The Dirt Kings I have on my 2024 are quiet.

i put the peak 2.25 leveling kit on over the summer and mine has a little squeak also. peak said was supposed to use this spray

Did you add their swaybar spacer? On other vehicles the d bushing that attaches the swaybar to the chassis starts to squeak/ fail when you don't either space it or extend the endlinks

@not2shabby Did you solve your squeak problem? I’m seriously considering the Peak shock and UCA package, but I’ll go mad with squeaks… lol

If you don't want noise, don't get uniball uca joints.
Been there. Done that.
Icon makes a high angle ball joint.
Spendy though.

I’ve developed a squeaky from control arm recently. I misplaced where the noise was coming from originally, I thought it was coming from the left-rear, just behind the cab, but I misheard the location because I was in an underground parking garage. It’s totally my front control arm. Not sure if it’s the ball joint or a bushing at the frame pivot point, but I’m hoping a new dose of grease will solve the issue. I’m using Dirt King Ball Joint Upper Control Arms. I’ll also look into CRC spray lube.
