Street trucks are making a comeback, and GM might be left behind once again.

Ram announced the return of the Rumble Bee for 2027, with 3 different HEMI V8 engines.

1. Rumble Bee: A 5.7L Hemi V8 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque, without the E-torque hybrid system.
2. Rumble Bee 392: A NA 6.4L Hemi V8 470 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque.
3. Rumble Bee SRT: A 6.2L Supercharged Hemi V8 777 horsepower. 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds.

Anyone think GM has something up their sleeve to compete?

Loaded up my Ram sled a few times this week. About 3500 lbs of water on this load.

If every manufacturer did this we'd probably see a lot better availability and more reasonable mark up on offroad trims like the zr2, trx, rho and raptor 🤷🤞🤞

Ram Rumble Bee SRT- The fastest production truck… Ever!

I love the commercials!

My Ol man bought this Ram 1500 SST HO late last fall. I got to drive it some last week. That inline 6 motor hauls ass, I was impressed.

It's the Laramie and has a really nice interior like his last one. It's chuck full of nanny state driver safety bullshit tho.......I wanted to smash the DIC with a hammer when it started flashing at me and telling me to look ahead and jerking the steering wheel.

So here is the first test drive of the Rumble Bee with Leno behind the wheel.

They did a great job with this truck. It looks great, sounds great, very nice interior. It looked like it might be a little stiff in the suspension, but maybe that has to be too handle the power.

Tim is the kind of leader that performance rigs need, not some skirt!

So for you younger guys that don't remember the Lil Red Express Truck that Dodge made, mentioned in the video.. Here it is, along with a limited edition Midnite Express Truck........stacks and all 245 HP.

Really enjoyed my 2014 Ram R/T. The fit, finish and interior were nice. Took a bit to get the lowered suspension dialed in, but once I did it rode really nice for a lowered truck. Doubt I'd go back to a sport truck now that I'm in a 4 wheel drive.

What happened?
Bought a Demon new. I enjoy driving it on sunny Sundays. So the mileage is very low. After 8 years CA wants it smogged. It did not pass, station said 'drive cycles' are incomplete and you have to drive it to reset. Discussed it with a dealer who supposedly has a Demon expert. They said I have to drive the car 5000 miles to reset, WTF?
Sent a letter to Stellantis and they said it's technically out of warranty, I told the Stellantis rep I wasn't looking for them to pay for the fix but I would like them to identify a solution. They completely washed their hands of the car and told me to go to the dealer. Called the dealer back and they refused to do any analysis or work on the car at all. So now I'm stuck with a $100K Demon I can't drive because I can't renew the registration.

I'll come over and pick you up. We'll take it to MT and register it there for 1/10 cost and We'll put 5K on by 4th of July!

The 360 CI will make more power than the 340CI. the 360 was brought out during the nuetering years of emissions. But they make a nice 410 CI! You likely already know this? The 360" crate motor runs strong to. I'm not a fan of step sides but MOPAR always brings out cool stuff power wise. So did Pontiac. I used to love messing with these power trains and building differentials.

It was just before my teen years. I just remember the guy down the street had one and I thought they were so cool. I only recall seeing one Midnight Express black one years later. I don't think many were made.

When I was growing up, in the ‘90s, we passed by a Lil Red Express sitting in a neighbor’s driveway every day going to school. I used to think they were “so cool”.
