Range Technology Module caught at dealership 😂

well well well, my truck was due for a battery replacement, i took to the dealership and they told me we will perform a battery check which takes about couple of hours, then they will install a service update bulletin. They called me up in the afternoon saying that there’s an error “loose connection from the ECM” we will try the reprogramming tomorrow, if it didn’t work we will replace your ECM. Then it hit me and i totally forgot about the range module connected to my ECM. I told the guy, he will tell the technician to remove it and redo the process, i hope everything goes smoothly, i have a bolt on fender liner from PaxPower not sure if they will attempt to remove or they will shout “its after market we ain’t touching it”. Its my bad totally forgot about the Range module knowing that it will interfere with service updates…etc
