Rearview mirror glitch/reset

So within the first 5 mins of driving my truck my mirror resets. Has anyone ever noticed this?

No issues since I bought mine in December.

It may sound silly, but check your battery connections. I bought my ZR2 June of last year. Had a few gremlins the first couple of weeks. Nothing major, just annoying.

When I installed my Kicker subwoofer I found the negative battery cable was loose. It was on the terminal, but with little effort it moved.

After the install I got both battery terminals nice and tight. I’ve had no electrical gremlins since.

Mine actually flashes and resets randomly from time to time too. Gets really light and then back to normal with no issues. No rhyme or reason to it either.

Mine doesn't reset, but I'm having trouble getting used to the camera mirror. My old eyes don't adjust quick enough I guess!!

You can switch it back to a conventional mirror if that works better for you.

There is a little flip bar on the bottom of the mirror. Just like an old mirror that allowed you to dim the mirror due to bright lights behind you. You can flip it back and forth easily.

Got it! Thanks, so that toggles back & forth between camera view and regular mirror?
