Has anyone had their seat wear the plastic trim on the center console like this?

Has anyone had their seat wear the plastic trim on the center console like this?

Mine does, but just looks scuffed. I sort of wondered if it was just a temporary plastic coating that can be peeled off.

I wondered the same but figured before I peaked it off I’d ask on here to consensus.

Any chance it's because the width of your butt is pushing the bolster hard against the console trim??

lol. Not saying I’m a small guy but I don’t think I’m big enough I should have to worry about this. Both seats sit on the console without anyone in them to being with.

Interesting - on my 2025 (admittedly, only has 1000 miles) both seats clear the console. Maybe it's a "cumulative wear" issue with the seat bolsters and they "relax" a bit over time. Either way - that shouldn't abrade the console like that. Tried seeking a warranty claim? Might be worth it.

Figured I’d get input here first. Guess I’ll ask about it when I take it in for the recall. Will be a couple of months though.
