First off Thanks for the add to the group My name is Bob and I live in the suburbs of Philly ( DELCO) for any that might know, Any way Like I said I took the chance and bought a 2025 ZR2 yes with the 6.2 I absolutely love the truck and the way it drives. I’ve owned many trucks throughout my life from every brand shapes and sizes and I must say I really love how this truck drives I do a 100 mi commute to work mostly highways and I love it ( traded in my 2022 jeep HighTide ) on my ZR The one thing I noticed about this engine to me it seems to idle very low when at a light around 500/600 RPMs to me that seems a little low anyway I have just over 1350 mi on it and I’m taking it in tomorrow for my first oil change I got the dealer to agree for the change and I’m going to ask that they put the 0/40 in it for me we will see how that goes anyway thanks for the add and if anyone can comment on the RPM question that would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Bob

Normal idle temps are 600+ when colder and under 600 when warmed up.

I would recommend you get the Range Technologies module to eliminate the DFM cylinder deactivation and auto engine stop. It also improves shifting in the transmission. It's not expensive and the features and benefits are worth it. Takes 15-20 minutes to install behind front wheel well liner on drivers side.
