Stereo Sound Getting Better?

Hi all,
Is it my imagination or is the stereo sound getting better in the truck after some hours on the speakers? Granted it's still not a high end system but before it used to sound like my ears were stuffed with cotton. Lately it seems to be a little clearer. Am wondering if it's just wishful thinking............

I know they did an over-air update that improved the function of the powered sub under the center console. When that happened it was noticeably better, IMO.

I think some of the updates have helped. My 24 2500HD definitely sounds better, especially the notably heavier bass. Not sure how many updates its had or when. But some OTAs recently. I would say above average sound for factory system.

Maybe some improvements in 22 1500, but less noticeable. I would say average sound for factory system.

My wife's 23 Tahoe sounds better cause it had the center channel speaker and a larger cabin for better sound. But every once in a while, I am not sure it sounds as good. I'd say above average for factory system.

My 26 doesnt sound any better than I recall the 22 before I put the kicker in it. I actually think it has less bass and less overall volume.

Yeah. Audio still cuts out like the 22 did also lol.

I've noticed a difference also. It does seem clearer and more bass heavy. I listen to stuff through Android Auto and the onboard system and both sound better. While listening through Android Auto it's almost close to sounding like a premium factory system.

Added the kicker sub today so my stereo definitely got better now
