Warranty Denied Aftermarket LEDs.

Again...

My dealer, based on my experience, would have replaced the module under warranty and put a note in the system, listing the presence of LED lighting and denying further warranty claims for the replaced part on future failures. In other words, "We warned you, please don't do it again".

I still don't get why the LED was the assignable cause? Can an electrical engineer weigh in on this?

Read some of the YouTube comments there are some techs and lighting experts that weigh in on the topic. Essentially power is backfed to the lighting control module cause the LED package is not running the same way as incandescent.

FYI.................Got an email back from LasFit, they said their reverse LED lights don't void warranty.
Will those Chinese MFers send you a check or give you a solid shoulder shrug and a whoopsie tho?

Those chicken shit backup lights aren't really the problem anyway, cause they are such low amperage. If you look at the video, he was using a full set of higher power lights with the inline CANbus. I think all those lights in aggregate are a different animal.

If you want better backup lights with a separate harness, I think the POD Lights setup is the way to go.
