It was based on GMAuthority post, but I agreee with you, this is proably a Trail Boss.

Looks like a ZR2 in all respects, except for dual exhaust tips and missing the option multi functional tailgate. CA show truck shows exhaust hidden behind rear bumper..

Some of the ZR2 test trucks were seen with this exhaust. Some even had the chrome part of it missing, but the exhaust was still angled down like the ZR2 exhaust
