Hello everyone, im a new member here and like this forum, always looking for information on updates, recalls and improvements
Poor lil Me another milly engineered silverado, definitely not like my 1976 4x4 stepside, or my 2004 Silverado, and my former 2010 Silverado. the 2018 silverado had far too many problems that was a money pit, such as the trans going out back to back within ten months which gm dealerships wouldnt honor warranty from their defective workmanship, the list goes on and on with that one. yet, here I am, keeping the faith.
Those ones seem to be made to last and engineered to do their job.
This one here is gorgeous truck, powerful, Can't figure out why the governor and or speed limiter is on the truck itself other than to protect from accidents
the cons to me are the seat is a bucket seat with no lumbar support and a curved seat that leaves one with poor posture, and the vent by the information display and the drivers side seat hits the neck leaving a knot cramp in my neck to where I had to go to get urgent care for the kink, uff.
other than that its a beauty.
what i'd love to see is the truck with a normal seat with lumbar support, and a shorter delay in the blower vent change with the air flow , and for collision activation for cameras or a manual camera for protection during any road rage incident as well surrounding the vehicle as an option.
and a vent deflector for that pain in the neck vent i mentioned earlier.
I did see this one truck where the tailgate had this button that allowed the owner push it and it automatically closed itself, that was amazing, not the chev, seen the Ram like this one here, and it was a sport model, nice truck it seemed to have the same engine almost in liter size, i believe it was a 6.8 though? not sure. Can't remember too good.
Get alot of looks at this truck, and seems like toyota, ford and ram owners always try to compete with speed or go around me as if they got some envy issues. :D
with this L87 Crank issue is the only flaw that is worrying myself about having to deal with currently. so far i had to replace the driverside front rotor due to the brake pad having issues that ate the rotor with grooves with only 8 k miles, i changed them both, and new set of pads. no need to change the pad life sensors, they stayed good. although, no way to reset the percentage, probably due to the brake mechanic did not reset the percentage when after changing them, he was prompted more than likely and just skipped it. uff. although, it turns on a dime and lets me get around with ease compared the 2018 silverado.
