Really not sure how it all ties together. I just know that the recall mentions that the radio may stay on for 5 minutes after the update. There could be some relation, but who knows?

Another quick update - I installed the X4s today (along with an XLT Bedrug, which had the bonus of making the tonneau install more comfortable). Overall relatively easy to install. The only minor setback was that, due to the heat, the front bulkhead weatherstripping didn't want to stay...
I had not seen this behavior until today. It was almost comical. Every time I tried to tune in to a new station, the AC cut to the lowest level for a few seconds, and the stations didn't work.
I can confirm that the AT4 is having the same software issues (or whatever it is!) with the radio. My neighbor has a 22 AT4. Same issue with the radio. Sample size of 1 as a comparison, but it is likely not a coincidence.
I had a much less difficult time changing these bulbs on my 2500. After a few minutes of irritation and scrapes, I can confirm that removing the bracket bolt(s) is the way to go—less than 10 minutes for both. Thanks for the suggestion!
