Has anyone tried 305/70r18 tires? I just received my wheels and tires today and was wondering, if anyone has installed 305/70r18 tires on 18x9 wheels +1 offset. if so how much did you have to cut?
i have 1.5 level kit with Rough country UCA. i already pushed the front bumper around 1/2". wheels i have are 18x9 +1 offset fuel wheels with 305/70r18 nitto recon grappler tires.

I think I've seen a post about 305s, might have been 315s.

I had my tires installed on wheels and then brought them home to mount, so I could trim what was needed. Only way I was confident that I wouldn't tear it up on the way home.

That's funny cause I did the same thing. I dropped them off this morning. picking them up now and taking it home to pull off my 1.5" spacers and test fit them and go from there. I just wanted to see how much damage I am going to have to do lol

Just had to cut plastic in the back and it still hits the bumper in the passenger side. Probably have to put more washers/spacer to push bumper a little more out.

Looks damn good! Once you get the clearance you need you will be happy you did the bigger tires/offsets. Looks so much better.

Check out my thread in trimming, it may be useful.

How do I set the tpms to relearn? Tire shop said they should be programmed for the truck but I never had the truck there to mount the tires on the car I just picked them up from them.

You can bring the truck back to the tire shop and they can reprogram them in about 1 minute. They put the truck tpms into learn mode and use a small handheld computer held near the sensor to link them up.

I have one of those tools from eBay and do my own from time to time.

I ordered one from Amazon let's see if it works. Putting it in learn mode is like the tahoe?

Yep! Easy just go to tpms reading in center of DIC. Press the roller button on toggle switch. Start at drivers side and work your way around.

How is the ride comparison after having the level installed? Did you change your rear blocks to match the front?
