2024 3.0 diesel transmission issues ?

Driving the truck home in the mountains the truck would downshift but the truck would actually slow down. It would drop easily 10-15 mph while downshifting. I was getting worried I wouldn't be able to get up some of the hills.

Anyone seen / heard of any issues ?

Doesn’t sound normal but definitely interested in anyone with hands on experience as I’ve got one coming next month.

I've put about 1k miles on it with the 3.0. Best avg so far is about 27mpg. Real avg id put about 22-23 mpg. Great power

Apparently they found a code P026a. Not sure that would explain the loss of speed but I'm not that savvy. Anyone have any insight if that's a possible cause?
