2026 Silverado 2500 ZR2 7 foot garage door fitment.

Grok says you’ll have just over 1” of clearance! So depending on the approach or if the door sits just below the opening then you may rub against the door seal. If you can, test drive one and run it by the house for a test fit.

Will a 2026 Silverado 2500 ZR2 Diesel fit under a 7 foot garage door?
Barely, at 83 inches over the b pillar, as these trucks sit big! Every truck sits a little different, so you might not clear. Also the antenna might hit, but you can get a shorty.

Your opening needs to be about 83 1/2". It also will depend on your approach angle. Steep entry you might get away with a little less. Chevy said 82" and some change on their site when I bought my 24. Brought it home on a Friday night and spent my Saturday raising my garage opening up about 1" lol. If the FM antenna hits, STOP. The highest point on the truck is actually top of the cab behind the sunroof, But the FM antenna is a little taller. It kind of acts like a curb feeler for roof clearance. Kind of nice if your are out somewhere and aren't sure if you can clear something.

I have 84 inches. The chevrolet site says 82.68 for a 2500 ZR2. Hopefully it fits.

I have 9 inches of clearance on th4 top antenna now on My2023 1500 ZR2. Barely under 84 inches on the header and the garage door travels well past it when opened.

Not sure the height of my garage door (maybe I'll measure later); however, my '26 2500 ZR2 fits under it.
However, quite a few times each month I drive under the sign in the attached photo with the 2500 and have never hit it.....
(Sign says 7'4" so I have at least under 88 inches) Just looking up the max height per Chevrolet website it says Height, Overall 79.82 in.
I say that is not accurate or the sign is not accurate and I would guess due to liability, the sign is probably pretty accurate.

Chevrolet.com on the dimensions for a 2026 silverado 2500 ZR2 says the height is 82.68" and my garage is just under 84 inches. From what people are saying I should have an inch leftover. My 2023 1500 ZR2 has 5 inches before the weather strip and a total of 8 inches clearance should I remove the weather strip

I mistakenly looked at stock 2500 specs, my mistake.
My garage door opening is 83.25 to bottom of a rubber strip (bottom of door is higher about 84 inches) and I have about one inch clearance.
