Still waiting on my new 2026 2500 ZR2

So my truck showed up at the dealership, but im told I cant pick it up yet because the black out package did not arrive from the factory. I thought it would come from the factory on the truck, but I was told it was shipped seperate and the dealer puts it on. They are not allowed to sell it without it on. I even offered to buy it and bring it back when the parts show up, but they said no. So not here I am still waiting.

Yeah, because they can't put them on crooked and damage your paint if you don't let them do it tho.

How do I know that? Well because they did that on my wife's Tahoe so to replace a gold emblem with a black one that didn't even look good, but the dickhead doing the ordering checked that box.

that's bullshit. they can 100% absolutely sell it and give you a "due bill" with the black emblems listed. when they come in, you go back and have them installed. or better yet, do it yourself. that way you do it right and hopefully don't dimple your sheet metal when taking the originals off (DON'T PRY!!)

That sucks, did they give you a timeline at all?

Part of the PDI process on new vehicles. Sucks but they can't bill GM for the install time as they didn't do it(unless they billed it out and gave you the parts after they came in )

GM had to put a new grille on my truck shortly after I picked it up as the tech who did the Black emblem install gouged the hell out of it when he removed the gold emblem.
