Yep, this channel has a lot of good information. I downloaded all of the bulletins put out by GM last night... they are up to 16 from the 14 in his video and climbing. Some good info here.
Anything new in the “new” bulletins?Yep, this channel has a lot of good information. I downloaded all of the bulletins put out by GM last night... they are up to 16 from the 14 in his video and climbing.
Guess that would only cover engines that are actively dead right? All the rest just MAY be bad lolNot really, just updates to their FAQs to CYA... Don did point out an interesting thing, under the Motor Vehicle Safety Act, GM has 60 days to repair a damaged vehicle or they are liable for a replacement or refund (less depreciation)... wonder how that is going to work out for them.
Not sure I track them all closely, but there has been a few new statements in these the last few days that I find interesting. Maybe they aren't realy new, but they are to me. There will be more trickling in as this unfolds. It may be the NHTSA forcing this or maybe try to get ahead of lawsuits. They aren't doing this haphazardly, it all has purpose.Anything new in the “new” bulletins?
That's was one of the things I posted last week. If your getting the run around, I 'd be dropping that paper in front of dealer and GM customer service right quick and negotiating a buyback or trade. Not really, just updates to their FAQs to CYA... Amen... GM doesn't do anything without a financial analysis behind it.Not sure I track them all closely, but there has been a few new statements in these the last few days that I find interesting. My truck has been in since March 29. At this point I hope that is out of commission for 60+ days. I want out of GM.Not really, just updates to their FAQs to CYA... I Was Told GM Might Replace Every L87 6.2L Engine for the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra, But I’m Wondering If They’re Really Ready for That
What started as a simple recall might turn into one of the largest engine replacements for GM. Owners are hearing whispers of full swaps, and now some are wondering if GM is really prepared for what’s coming next.www.torquenews.com
He did mention in this one that the Tonawanda engine plant has authorized overtime to start cranking out (no pun intended) a massive amount of L87 engines…Interesting, AI might be right on these points! I wonder if Mary Bad Bearings Barra uses it?
