It's so much nicer now in matte. I kept the funky area in gloss as an accent to tie the color together and to minimize the chance of bubbles or issues.

In my opinion instead of all the damn gloss, it should have been all matte that looks sexy

imo, i dont think we have an option to not fix. only gonna get worse. not sure if the service bulletin is gonna fix. i have appt on 5-1 for my exhaust swap. i may bring it up then but gotta fix at some point. you gotta respray entire hood. im thinking of having them paint scoop body color.

Did you get your hood scoop painted to match your body color? I’ve been looking for pictures of it being done but unlucky so far. I’m thinking of doing it also but want to see it done first.

Thanks, I'm pleased with how it turned out. It was removed from the hood and the 6.2L emblems were removed before the wrap. I'm not sure what brand my guy used, but I can ask if you'd like.

How hard is the scoop to remove from the hood? Wanting to wrap mine.

Not "easy" and you may break a few clips, but doable as a few folks have done it and posted the results. You just need to be super careful you don't dent the hood getting it off.
