Hey guy's I am new to the group but not ne to the gm 8 speed transmission, I know they shift better with the Mobil one transmission fluid, So my demand upon purchase the dealer is goin to flush my 2019 Colorado ZR2 transmission, Has anyone else here ever had their transmission flushed, I jus did not want to wait for the infamous 8 speed shutter, I know every 8 speed out there will do it it's just matter of time, So whats yur thoughts?

Proactively taking advantage of a TSB is always a good idea. It could save you down the line from the damage of glazing on the clutch packs.

If they have a recommendation to make the torque converter behave I would proceed.

Ok guy's I opted not to flush, I know the service manager and were like I am not having any problems and got year left on original warranty, 5 years/66,000 miles on extended no since kick'n a sleep'n dog, Were not sure if it wasen't all ready flushed, Anywho I will drive it and see, usually the shutter is within first 20,000 I believe....

How does this all apply to the 10 speed trans in the Silverado?
Believe he's talking about a Colorado ZR2...maybe we need a unique thread for Colorado owners vs Silverado owners to reduce confusion.
