Shouldn't be an issue if installed correctly. Just make sure its properly filled and sealed. I say low risk.

The best info is this: How do you treat dealer personnel? If you take it in for service, walk back and flip the tech some bucks for lunch, I guarantee you your issue will be handled. If you walk in with a chip on your shoulder, screaming about how your Gale Banks add-a-scheme crap isn't the problem...when it really is...You're going to get flagged by that tech, and GM customer no-service will back them up. Seriously...Be a good human being, and you'll find good service in return.
