Allison Transmission Valve Body Failure Issue

I might do it outside warranty or if I experienced problems. This transmission is definitely not the Allison's of the past based upon some of the problems.you see.

One of the things I'm worried about with boosting power on this current generation truck, that they don't seem to have the durability that the Duramax and Allison was know for for over two decades.

With the current computer system, they could easily track your driving habits and engine performance data and blame you for oil in the coolant and a smoked transmission and you'd have a $10-15k repair bill.

I've never worried about this stuff in the past, but it does cross my mind now.

That Edge EZ system may be the only "safe way" to get a little more power and no tracking.

Summer of 2027?
Banks says they are just finishing up all of the testing so I think end of this Summer is very realistic. We'll see, but these guys are very good and I'd rather them do it right versus guys like Stealth, Edge, etc. I love the fact they make decisions off of the OBD data and not just two sensors on the MAF and fuel line pressure.

Couldn’t agree more. They’re produce quality without a doubt. Funny thing is their throw away quality is GM go to market with press conference patting each others backs.
