I’ve had my 24 ZR2 1500 in shop now 4 times for the parking assist system just turning itself off and on. It goes back in next week for round 5. Its also had 4 trips for stereo will just stop producing sound. Nothing on any form of radio be it am,fm, spotify, phone calls nothing comes out of speakers. They keep telling me its software updates on stereo, and keep trying to blame my amp running boards for the parking system issue. We debunked that last trip w sales manager.
Also my adaptive cruise will just shut itself off completely or disengage and the re-engage itself when there is nothing in front of me. They say bridges, road signs, even an empty flat bed semi trailer can cause it to do that. I know a bridge for sure as i cross one frequently
And EVERYTIME it will do it. WhT the hell!!!
Is it just my truck or is anyone else having same issues?

I have the same issues with adaptive cruise and the radio and my front camera I use for parking. It will work sometimes but will shut off sometimes when I’m using it to park in my garage. The radio I noticed usually only happens when I switch from CarPlay to sxm and vice versa. I noticed the adaptive cruise shuts off when I go through a deep dip in the road. Have you found any fixes for these? I’ve had it to the dealership twice for the camera. They said they couldn’t replicate the issue and there were no codes. Funny thing is when I got it back and drove it into my garage it happened again. (It’s also happened in parking lots too.)

I have amp steps on both my 1500 and 2500HD and haven't had any problems. I do know when you pull the plug from the OBD II port, it will throw numerous electrical codes, mostly for electronics run by the BCM. However, it doesn't seem to actually affect anything.

My adaptive cruise has been pretty reliable, so that must just be sensor or software issues.

I do occasionally have my park brake automatically engage, sometimes in my driveway that has a minor slope and sometimes in other parking areas. I think not can be overly sensitive sometimes.

Maybe you could take the Service Manager or tech for a ride and duplicate the issue for them.

Could be bad control modules for the cameras. I had to have three of mine replaced. I had the same type of issues.

There is a tech bulletin out for the front camera and programming. I picked mine back up from its fifth visit to replace the camera today and was told it was out. Time will tell if it actually fixes the problem.

What year? I've got a 22 and I've had three camera modules replaced. Once one of them goes out it affects the adaptive cruise, Lane keep assist, 360 surround view, auto high beam, and the collision safety system. At first it would intermittently go out until those features finally just stopped working all together. Search through the posts and you'll be able to see a lot of information about the issues...

If you're having trouble with a dealership near you and if there's multiple dealerships within a 50 mi radius of your home just go to a different dealership.
We have 4 or 5 dealerships here and I had to go to a couple different ones before I found one that would actually take care of me properly.

Hope you get it fixed soon!

I don’t really have an issue with the dealer. It’s that the truck just kept eating cameras over and over.

Now I’m a bit confused. I’ve had two dead batteries since this problem surfaced. Am I reading this TSB correctly in that a low voltage can cause the camera problem? I thought I was dealing with fallout from the issue.

A bad battery can cause issue with many things.... Before I replaced mine it was throwing all kinds of codes. Look up the post called

Bad battery= bat shit crazy truck

There's lots of other posts about bad batteries and low voltage issues and all the different problems.

I’m on my third battery since Jan. I’m hoping that the camera issue was causing it not something else killing the battery and the camera breaking was just an indicator.

I may just offload this thing as I’m not so confident in it long term now.
