How did it go?I think I may defect to GMC………
im thinkin i may defect from GM.I think I may defect to GMC………
Well I went down to the local GMC dealer and test drove the AT4X AEV Edition. I definitely felt that the ride was harsher than I remember for the ZR2. Nothing that would rattle your teeth, just slightly annoying. Just in case I remembered the test drive in the ZR2 correctly I drove over to the Chevy dealer and test drove another ZR2 back to back with the AT4X. Definitely a smoother ride. How did it go?
I noticed the seats weren't as comfortable in the AT4X. I suspect it has something to do with the seat massage addition.I thought about it. At4x: The tires are smaller. The stereo is better more speakers. The headliner and interior is nicer. Nicer start button but that big GMC on the front is ugly af. Look is more management rather then off road crawler and the front end you will hit rocks because the of the bumper. I am actually trading my Zr2 for a new one after 11 months because of 0 financing. Had a look at a Raptor as well but don’t want the low mileage and no need for high horse power.
Did the AT4X have a snow plow prep package? That might explain ride quality. Otherwise, they are the same rig.Well I went down to the local GMC dealer and test drove the AT4X AEV Edition. So similar trucks, and there are design and aesthetic aspects of both I do & don't like.
Still pondering which direction. Life's good to have these first world dilemmas.
Yes sir,Styling wise. I tried to like the Aev package. But when I looked at the bumpers and compared pics it really looks like an after market bolt on then something designed by the factory and the Zr2 at first I did not love the front end but the more I looked at it the more I liked it. Anyone know of a bolt on light weight hidden winch for it?
LOL no snowplow package. Intellectually I know that the two trucks are supposed to be the same. But after 2 separate test drives of each I'll swear seat of they pants they are definitely different.Did the AT4X have a snow plow prep package? That might explain ride quality. There's people on this forum that complain about ride quality. I think mine is the best riding 2500HD I've ever ridden in, especially a "lifted" one.LOL no snowplow package. Or you do the same and get the Addictive Desert Design bumper. Only cost about $5k either way.Yes sir,
First you unbolt your bumper. Then you bolt on the comeup winch kit then you install your new AEV bumper that you learned to love
