Bad Day in San Antonio

I am really sad, young driver made a late left turn in front of me after her light had turned red. I dread the amount of time it might take to get the parts and then, get the bumper cut, restore my paint protection and ceramic coating. Gonna take a while I am sure.

absolute shit day for sure, but at least everyone is ok. every time I have to go into town I dread it because of how bad the drivers are compounded by the construction that makes them lose their minds even more.

in San Antonio I would consider it lucky if they even had insurance. ask me how I know....

Sorry, this happened to you but on the bright side replace with the ADD bumper and make Sure to request and get a DMY claim in to protect you from the devaluation in your trucks value due to the accident.

Man, that sucks! I am guessing by the damage to yours that theirs is totaled? The bumpers aren't indestructible, but I bet it really damaged the other vehicle!

Busa Dave, your post was appreciated. My chuckle was for your recommendation to upgrade my bumper…bright side. Sorry if you took offense, none intended and your comments were appreciated. I do know about diminished value. Thanks, Rick

Seriously though, sorry to hear! I've been in two hit and runs so far and neither one of them had insurance. Just sucks waiting for the body shop and then another 30 days to get the ceramic done. Real headache!!! Glad everyone's okay

Snotty little chick that hit me the first time... Said I'll see you in court.... to which I replied ma'am I've got a dash cam that shows three different angles.... She turned white as a ghost and went over 80 miles an hour through a school zone and ended up hitting three more cars trying to get away from me

That is the issue, I can't even get the truck in until the 28th and that's "tentative". Chevrolet body shop has already told me they are having problems getting bumpers and grills in. The only good thing I can say is they said they can do the ceramic, bumper trim and paint protection without me having to go back to the places I got all that done.
