Borla and Blackhawk—comin in hot!!!

Got my Borla and K&N Blackhawk in a couple days ago.


Gettin ready to get her done.

Might sit here and stare at it for a few more minutes, that’s bound to help.

The stock exhaust never looked so good!

when you break out the gas axe you miz well have a little fun with it

The installation went smooth. The only glitch I found was that the mount on the first pipe going into the muffler was a little far forward, but a slight “adjustment” with a hammer and it fit like a glove. This might have happened in shipping. No big deal

The header pipe from the y into the muffler has a clamp that you’ll have to cut off

Mind you—don’t cut the clamp itself just the tab that holds it in place.

I’m pretty sure that my gas mileage will suffer because the sound is SOOO much better. But I have a Colorado that I drive to work and back that gets 23 mpg + - so I really don’t care.

I did notice that this kind of stuff was much easier when I was 25 years old.

It has a nice growl sound to it now.

I’ll get you guys some more “after” shots tomorrow, ran out of daylight today.
