Chevy Silverado EV Sales Record 1K Deliveries During Q1 2024

I was at my dealer yesterday. They had about 20 Silverado EVs sitting there. I think they just keep moving them from one part of the lot to the next and are stacking more. There were a couple more behind the fleet sales building. I wonder if fleet teams are actually deploying these turds.

It's really hard to justify forking out that much dough on a fleet vehicle when there are far more bang for the buck options available.

I have seen a couple of city vehicles that were the Ford F150 Lighting. I assume that would be a target market, not real businesses and contractors.. This dealer sells a lot of vehicles to the popo.

We have a couple of both at work. They assigned them to supervisors so they won’t be doing any actual work. It’s too early to tell how they’ll hold up. But so far none of the other ventures in the “green fleet” has earned a repeat purchase

They are pretty nice inside. I suppose the work truck version is pretty basic, but I didn't look at one.

Even the W/T and pro models of the evs are much better than the base model, crank window, am/fm only trucks they give us workers. Although I don’t have a lot of faith in GM’s current tech…
