Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra Software Update Gives GM Trucks New Feature: Video

When the inside of your truck is almost 150 degrees it could be useful for some. I have a thermometer in my trucks upper air vents. The temps on the dash between the bottom of the windshield get over 200 🔥 per the laser thermometer.

For me I just lower all 4 windows and drive most of the time to let it cool down.

I live in Aizona and see 140F+ on my center console from middle of May through middle September when its 105-115F every day. I've never rolled my window down once that I can remember in last couple of decades. The air systems are quite capable nowadays. The best thing you can do is put sun shades in your window and tint on the sides, then start it a few couple minutes before you get in.
