My driver's side mirror quit retracting a few weeks ago. Haven't had time to look at it much and it's still hot out, so I'm not yet motivated to dig in.
I asked my service advisor if they can replace the motors. He said no, you have to purchase the entire assembly and it runs about $700. I was surprised they aren't serviceable, as I've fixed a couple in the past.
Anybody ever tear into one of these mirrors and source parts?
