Today, my truck refused to start. It kept cranking as I pressed the start engine button. It's acting like its not getting any fuel. Fortunately I had a spare fuel control module that I bought right after I got my truck after reading so many failures of that module. Went under my truck, found it sitting above the gas tank. 10mm socket and 10 minutes of my time to swap the module.

Truck started up and drove like normal after that!

I just ordered another module today for a spare.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YALL ORDER GM #13554821 and put it in your glovebox as a spare!! A few minutes of inconvenience beats a whole day waiting for a tow truck!!

Glad you got ‘er fixed. I also carry a spare but haven’t had to use it yet. I did slide under to see where it was located. I think my spare was around $100 back in ‘23.

Seems like this is less of a issue now hopefully. The 22s and 23s were dropping like flies there for a while, lol.

Plenty of 24s+ on YouTube getting hauled in. Even the 2500HDs have the issue. GM willl use the same junk as long as their suppliers keep the bid low!
