Fuel Range?

When I got the ZR2 the fuel range indicator would show around 390-402 miles indicated after a fill up....
Now after the dealer fixing my DIC I fill up to an indicated 360 or so....
They did replace the DIC, so maybe I just answered my own question!
What range do you guys show after a fill up?

Thanks for the reply SG, I drove it for a good 6 months with the 400 mile indicated, many fill ups in that time...
It doesn't matter really, if I don't fill it up when it shows empty I walk!! LOL

LOL! I do seem to light up the 'Low Traction' warning quite a bit in these wet Seattle streets!

I have yet to see 300 or higher. Usually around 295. I do open it up a few times every trip. If not you should have gotten one of the other trims with the 5.3. The power of this engine is fun.

Mine is typically 370 to 380. I guess it helps I live in Florida where it’s flat.

Mine shows 270-370 miles. If you short trip it, mileage never seems to be good. Takes 20 miles for average to work right.

400 miles = 15.5 mpg on 26 gallon tank, so nothing special. My lifetime average is 12.5 mpg = 325 miles. I've seen 24 mpg over 50 miles highway at 65 mph and I've seen 9 running in manual banging shifts around town.

I just did a 550 mile trip with my wife's Tahoe 6.2L, loaded with 5 people and gear and almost got 19 mpg. That's running speed of 65 to 80+ mph, some decent mountains with grades and stomping it down on a few passes. Average speed was 57ish mph.

My truck has routinely shown 300-350 on a tank for 15k. Depending how much I was benchmarking the Valentine 1 that week.

Admittedly, since the CAI and exhaust I tend to want to listen to the 6.2 more often than not.

I see 330+ after driving down from mountains into valley where I live then filling up. Yeah must be prior mpg, after a week of stop n go it resets much lower

I’ll get 275-300 if I’m only around town. Fill up on a good trip and it’ll get to 375-400. Got a heavy foot

IDK, but that what the previous generations held, so I go with it. Just keep filling it up.

I can get 7 gallons of DEF in my 5.3 gallon tank too......LOL.

I never got 400 miles of range. My truck averaged 14.8 over the first 10k miles. That comes out around 355 miles a tank if I ran it bone dry. I typically was stopping every 280-300 miles. I don't really pay any attention to the estimated range. Unless you are on a highway just cruising, realistically it should say 360. Even at 360 that's a bit optimistic for mixed driving. Atleast it was in my case.

i get about 9 miles to the gallon so im gonna guess about 36 miles?? i suck at math. lol
