Hood paint chipping

Has anyone had a dealer tell them what the fix is yet for the hood scoop remounting? I have seen some dealer modifications that use a spacer, but interested if GM has a fix yet.

I met with my dealer at a body shop I couple of weeks ago to go over the repairs on my hood. The documents that the dealer had for the body shop show different sized foam spacers that must be put in different areas under the scoop to space it. I questioned if the document was the most current as the date I seen on it was May 10th if I remember correctly.

Anyone else notice paint chipped off around the hood insert? I have paint that flaked off on both front corners of the hood insert
