I hit 1500 miles on my rig today and it became a hyper miler.

Two best mileage readings I've seen running about 30% Street and 70% Freeway.

I did a very similar run today in my wife's 2023 Tahoe 6.2 L with a few more miles on it. I was in some traffic at first and then 78 mph on freeway and it did even better. I still like to roll on pretty good to hear that motor, so. I'm pretty happy where this is at.

Running 91 octane and I think it's watered down. If you knew you had pure quality fuel, you could get 20 mpg.

I have gotten as high as about 18.5 using 93.

Look at us.

Keyboarding around like this talking about our Performance Trucks like they're Nissan Leaf's (111 MPG combined, btw)...

SG you can't have a signature that looks like a JEGS brochure, and be seriously analyzing MPG...

After all... I thought this was 'Merica.

Oh, and best I've seen is 17.5mpg (converted from canuck). :ROFLMAO:

Trust me...I don't give a rats @$$ about MPG, but I do look at it since it stares me in the face. Anyone that bought this truck that complains about MPG needs to have their head examined ;)

I did another run from Phoenix to Vegas this week and took the 2023 Tahoe also with 6.2L Pretty good numbers running hard through lots of small mountains and hills. Had some wind on trip there, very little on return. Ran 91 octane on the way there and 87 on way home. With 87, I got better mileage.

I hit 27 mpg on about a 40 mile stretch between Kingman and Wikieup, slightly downhill. Ended that run into Phoenix over 20 mpg at 75 to 80 mph for much of it.

14.5 mpg lifetime average so far.
