Is VIN View wrong repeatedly?

My dealership said my ZR2 would be delivered today. Now they are saying VIN View shows next week. This is the second time it's been pushed back a week. Is it common for VIN View to be wrong over and over?

Vinview is always updating. The information in Vinview is provided by the shipping company once it hits the railyard. Sometimes they don't hit their delivery estimate.

I've tried to tell folks that you can't always go by any ETA that is listed on ANY GM system because it's probably not going to arrive when it says it will.
