went to dealer yesterday for excessive noise coming out rear leaf spring area they said new leaf springs for 1477 or shim kit for 350. my truck has 50k miles and had peak leveling kit with 295/70/18 toyo ats with oem black wheels and 3/8 spacers. i was looking at energy suspension polyuthereane inserts to fix the excessive squeak. wondering if anyone else had this issue or a recommendation

I would probably go aftermarket, maybe even replace the spring pack. Might call a few of the companies and see what they have to offer.

There was a recent article on GM Authority about a TSB for left rear spring noise. But seeing how you're out of warranty, GM wants $$ to fix it. I've used Spring-Things on my 2022 ZR2 and now my 2024 ZR2. No more noise

Thanks for the input i think ill try the spring things before changing the leaf springs. Are beadlock black wheels oem or aftermarket. I have had the ceramic done and have had good luck with the graphene coating from chevy. Also had ppf done and it took the shop three times to get it halfway right. the front clip is a big challenge for them. i bought my truck in phoenix az so it came with tint. The only complaint i have had after 5o k miles is the squeak from the leaf springs. Do you have any pictures of the truck with tonneau cover, wheels, tires?

The bead lock “capable” wheels on my truck are factory wheels. They’re kind of pricey if bought separately. I got lucky and someone at the dealership ordered two trucks with the bead lock capable wheels, tonneau cover, rock sliders and steps. I managed to negotiate a really good deal because the trucks had been sitting on their lot for 9 months. I have a build thread that covers both my previous 2022 ZR2 and my current 2024 ZR2. There may be pictures there that will help in your quest.
