New puddle light options

It's the same here in Marylandistan, I have the Veteran designation on my license, I also have USMC plates on my truck, but a simple DM to Mix with verification would do no matter how you slice it is my guess.

Just surfing the pages about the puddle lights and re read this. Didn't click....until I re- read it thoroughly.....
I don't know about your state or other states ( I know there are a few) but here in Nevada when you get your license and tags at the DMV and ask for veteran status, they take a copy of your DD-214 and will identify your military status on your DL with a veteran symbol. I know New York does....not sure about other states.

It's a quick way to identify your status without showing your VA card and revealing more sensitive information.

Here is what they look like in Nevada.

Since we're a very small business, we don't really have a way to verify military status. However, I have a tremendous amount of respect for the military, so whenever veterans mention that they served, I am always happy to apply the discount, no questions asked. Unfortunately, I have terrible eyesight; otherwise, I definitely would have enlisted myself.

No worries @Mixander Xi
I'm happy with the products and prices.
Keep up the good work!

We in the USA are blessed to even have a choice as to serve or not. (Except for the draft, which ended in 1973) In many countries military service is mandatory for those who are physically able. We still have selective service mandated, but it has not been enacted since Vietnam.

I am uncomfortable when someone says "thank you for your service" I always reply with thank you, but the real thanks is to those and their families that lost a loved one who signed that blank check.....my thanks was being able to come home.

Out of the 32 in my original platoon, only 12 of us are left. Sadly, some of them committed suicide, including my battle buddy. That's the worst part....we lose an average of 15-18 vets a day by suicide. Last thing I care about is a discount because I was in the military! I'm sure there are other vets in this group that feel the same.

The only reason I have a veteran plate and veteran status on my license is because a portion of the purchase in our state goes to help vets, the rest goes to help maintain the roads I drive on. To me ....that's worth the extra costs!

My standard reply to the 'thank you for your service" compliment paid to me (and which always humbles me) is to tell them that 'people such as you, and a country such as ours, makes it easy to want to serve'.

I also feel the real price is paid by those service members, and their families, who are injured or killed, my enlistment was more a vacation compared to theirs.

I have to say it, cause i haven't said it in this group since I've joined. Thank you all for your service. Freedom means a lot to us, and it's all because of people like you guys willing to risk your lives. Thank you!!!!!!
