Greetings,
2023 ZR2 with 6.2
Purchased new June 2023
Three issues:
1. Even with telescoping steering wheel extended to maximum, steering wheel is too far from seatback (I'm 6'-3" tall) resulting in uncomfortable arm extension. Has anybody sourced a steering wheel spacer?
2. Seats are very uncomfortable. Too short from front to back resulting in my body weight being spread over an inadequate area causing discomfort.
3. Seats also way too hard.
Has anyone had their seats re-upholstered (or replaced) for additional comfort (eg like GMC Denali)?

One additional comment.....with standard exhaust, vehicle sounds like a sewing machine, not a truck.
Other than that, I love it.

Cheers,
Eagle Bay

Welcome, three major comfort issues and you still love it, I’m at a loss for words.

Love:
The engine….. smooth, torquey, responsive
The transmission
The looks
The stance
The HUD
The infotainment system
Quiet, solid smooth ride

I’m hoping to get replacement seats from a Denali and expect to replace the exhaust with something a little more manly. I’m patient. Put 300,000 miles on last pickup (don’t shoot me…. It was an F150).

Not sure how to help on the steering wheel distance, but Desert Does It sells "Seat Jackers" that make the seats way more comfortable. My sciatica pain was horrible on long drives in my truck. I tried the Seat Jackers and no longer suffer on long drives.

Sub’d (I agree on the steering wheel extension…hopefully someone has a solid option)

I have a TRX and a '22 F350 KR and I don't really notice any difference in the steering wheel travel between any of them and I'm 6'1'. the seats in the ZR2 are my least favorite of the 3, but I can live with them. the exhaust sound in sport mode is as good as my TRX minus the blower whine. maybe '23 didn't have sport mode I'm not sure.

My '24 with a 6.2 just turned over 20k and I've not had a single problem with it. I'd buy it again if I had it to do over.
