just picked up a New Zr2 last week, Just to preface this is not my first 3.0 and it is going back to the dealer as soon as they have a loaner available. I am jut curious if anyone else has run into or heard about this issue.
I have a very distinct "whooshing" sound. It almost sounds like an aftermarket blowoff valve or letting the air out of an air compressor. it happens only when in drive and when accelerating/decelerating it's most consistent at low speeds like driving down the neighborhood street(25mph). I did bring it in and had the Service tech/mechanic listen to it and they are unsure what it could be "never heard it before". I'm thinking it might be a leak in the waste gate or exhaust system. I am well aware of the turbo sounds and the 3.0 sounds. It is so loud you can hear it when the cab is sealed up (sounds like it's coming from the back seat). Any suggestions or ideas to point the techs to are appreciated. I really would like to not have my 4 day old vehicle in the shop for an extended period of time
